A leading academic-affiliated medical center in the Greater Boston area is seeking a BC/BE Clinical Pathologist to join an established Division of Laboratory Medicine supporting a high-volume tertiary care hospital and growing integrated health system.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time Clinical Pathology opportunity within a collaborative team of experienced clinical pathologists
- Join a comprehensive Division of Laboratory Medicine serving a large tertiary care medical center
- Opportunity to contribute across multiple laboratory disciplines, including chemistry, hematology, coagulation, microbiology, transfusion medicine, molecular diagnostics, flow cytometry, and clinical informatics
- Current areas of need include core laboratory management and laboratory informatics
- Fellowship training or board certification in informatics not required
- Significant collaboration across laboratory sections with broad exposure to diverse pathology services
- Participate in interdisciplinary conferences, quality initiatives, and hospital committees
- Opportunity to help support ongoing laboratory integration and growth across an expanding regional health system
- Flexible opportunity to develop additional clinical or operational interests within laboratory medicine
Candidate Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Clinical Pathology
- Board certification required within one year of hire if board eligible
- Interest in laboratory management, operations, and/or clinical informatics preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to quality improvement and patient-centered laboratory services
Compensation & Benefits:
