Position Highlights:
- Provide comprehensive women’s health care, including prenatal, family planning, and preventive services
- Conduct health histories, physical exams, assessments, diagnostic testing, treatment, and follow-up care
- Manage common acute and chronic conditions within scope of practice
- Provide preventive health screenings, health education, and family planning guidance
- Collaborate with OB/GYNs, primary care providers, behavioral health specialists, nutritionists, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals
- Coordinate care to support comprehensive maternal and infant health outcomes
- Participate in women’s health care coordination and quality improvement initiatives
- Provide patient and community education focused on preventive care and health maintenance
- Direct and collaborate with medical assistants, laboratory personnel, and other support staff
- Participate in peer review, quality audits, staff education, and ongoing clinical improvement
- Practice in a multicultural, multilingual outpatient environment with an emphasis on culturally sensitive care
- Maintain timely and accurate electronic health records, including documentation, coding, results, and chart completion
- Opportunities for continued professional development through meetings, workshops, conferences, and committees
Qualifications:
- Board certified or board eligible as a Certified Nurse Midwife
- Current, valid California license to practice, including DEA license and CPR certification
- Thorough knowledge of women’s health principles and practices
- Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to culturally and linguistically sensitive care
- Two years of CNM experience preferred, but not required
- Community health experience preferred
- Bilingual, especially Spanish, preferred but not required
- Willingness to provide occasional evening/weekend coverage and travel between service locations as needed
Compensation & Benefits:
- $155,750.40–$180,564.80 annual salary
