Health Center is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife to join their OBGYN team in the Boston, MA area.
Details:
- Play a key role in advancing health equity for women in Boston
- This role is focused on outpatient prenatal, gynecological, and women’s health care — no labor or deliveries
- Provide outpatient prenatal, postpartum, and gynecological care, including exams, Pap smears, and office procedures
- Lead Centering Pregnancy group visits for prenatal patients
- Educate patients on prenatal, postnatal, family planning, and menopause care
- Collaborate with physicians and hospital partners to ensure continuity of care
- Document all patient encounters in the electronic medical record system
- Support health center's mission by delivering high-quality, community-based care
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in obstetrics
- Minimum 2 years of midwifery practice with demonstrated clinical competencies
- Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Certification by the American College of Nurse Midwives
- Strong knowledge of maternal/fetal growth, gynecological care, and midwifery practice standards
- Ability to assess, treat, and educate patients independently while collaborating with a care team
