A premier cardiac program in Western Wisconsin along the Mississippi River is seeking a board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join its physician-led, collaborative surgical team.
Position Highlights:
- Perform a comprehensive range of adult cardiothoracic surgical procedures
- Dedicated, set OR blocks provide a predictable surgical schedule
- Primarily inpatient-focused practice with one outpatient clinic day per week
- Equitable 1:3 night, weekend and holiday call rotation
- Strong clinical support from 4 inpatient surgical APCs and 2 dedicated outpatient APCs
- Practice within a premier 325-bed Level II Trauma Center
- Primary Stroke Center and onsite inpatient rehabilitation services
- Serve a regional catchment area of more than 700,000 people across 22 counties
- Regional network includes 6 critical access hospitals and more than 65 clinics
- Fully integrated Epic EMR
- Two medical transport helicopters plus an extensive ground ambulance network
- Teaching and mentorship opportunities through an integrated General Surgery residency program

Qualifications:
- Board-certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Completion of an accredited graduate medical training program
- Must have or be eligible to obtain an unrestricted medical license in the multi-state region
- Willingness to supervise advanced practice clinicians
- Outreach services may be required as part of the role
- Commitment to teaching medical students, residents, fellows or clinical staff
