Highlights:
- Position is four – 10-hour shifts per week
- Busy, high-quality rural practice, mentoring program, collaborative and supportive team-based care environment
- Plan, schedule, coordinate, and supervise a team of APPs
- Collaborate with leadership in achieving organizational goals and performance outcomes of APPs in their department
- Primary responsibilities include leading and managing staff, including APP department role optimization, performance evaluations, recruitment, hiring, and orientation
- This position reports directly to the department practice manager/SLD. Collaborates with the department physician manager.
- Approximately 10% of time is devoted to the team lead administrative duties and 90% to maintaining clinical practice within his/her respective department.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse and ARNP licensure or Active Physician Assistant licensure with prescriptive authority in the state of Washington, required by start date.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an APP
- Leadership skills
- Extensive knowledge of applicable state regulatory guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate ability to be self-directed and take initiative
- Knowledge of department policies, procedures, and protocols
- BLS/ACLS certification per department requirement
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: $155K – $187K/year plus RVU bonus potential
