A community-based healthcare system southeast of Salem, Oregon is seeking an experienced Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate) to join its collaborative cardiovascular care team in an outpatient setting.

Position Highlights:

  • Full-time, 40-hour weekday schedule (34 clinical hours + 6 administrative hours)
  • Outpatient cardiology practice with potential for a 4-day work week
  • Manage cardiac follow-up visits and chronic cardiovascular conditions
  • Evaluate and manage coronary artery disease, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and hypertension
  • Perform surgical cardiac clearance evaluations
  • Interpret EKGs and order appropriate diagnostic studies
  • Average patient volume of 16–20 patients per day
  • Work directly with an experienced non-interventional cardiologist in a shared office setting
  • Strong APP support model with dedicated 1:1 Medical Assistant coverage
  • EPIC EMR with integrated AI scribe technology
  • No call responsibilities
  • Collaborative, patient-centered cardiovascular care environment


Qualifications:

  • Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Oregon (or eligible)
  • 1–2+ years of clinical experience preferred, ideally in cardiology or internal medicine
  • Strong EKG interpretation skills and clinical judgment
  • Ability to manage common cardiovascular conditions independently
  • Excellent communication, efficiency, and teamwork skills
  • Patient-focused and comfortable in a fast-paced outpatient setting
