A leading academic healthcare environment in western West Virginia, near the Ohio and Kentucky borders, is seeking a BC/BE Breast Surgeon to join its team as a full-time faculty/attending physician
Position Highlights:
- Full-time Breast Surgeon opportunity
- Provide breast surgical oncology care as a faculty/attending physician
- Participate in the care of patients across affiliated healthcare facilities
- Supervise and provide clinical instruction to medical students, residents and fellows
- Teaching opportunities in general surgery, breast surgical oncology and related disciplines
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient clinical rounds
- Present at one or more Medical Grand Rounds annually
- Collaborative academic environment with opportunities to contribute to physician education
Qualifications:
- MD or professional equivalent medical degree
- Completion of a minimum 12-month fellowship in Breast Surgery or Breast Surgical Oncology
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
- Eligible for medical licensure in West Virginia
