Seeking a BC/BE Breast Imaging Radiologist with expertise in stereotactic breast biopsies to join a high-performing, community-focused radiology team in Chicago, IL. This full-time role offers the chance to deliver top-tier breast imaging care in a diverse, urban environment with a strong referral network.
Position Highlights:
- Lead stereotactic, ultrasound-guided, and MRI-guided breast biopsies and minimally invasive procedures with precision
- Interpret digital mammography, 3D tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI, ensuring early detection and accurate diagnosis
- Provide expert consultations and guidance for abnormal findings, coordinating with a multidisciplinary breast/cancer team
- Participate in tumor boards, multidisciplinary conferences, and quality reviews to maintain high standards in patient care
- Access on-site lab and pathology for rapid, accurate results
- Support patients with clear communication and collaborative treatment planning
- Serve a high-volume screening/diagnostic program with referrals from primary care, oncology, and gynecology
Requirements:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
- Fellowship training or extensive experience in Breast Imaging
- Proficiency in stereotactic breast biopsies
- Eligible for Illinois medical license
- Commitment to compassionate, equitable care in a diverse urban community
