A leading behavioral health program ~20 miles from New Haven, Connecticut, is seeking a BE/BC Psychiatrist
to serve as Assistant Medical Director and Medical Director of its inpatient geriatric psychiatry service.
Position Highlights:
- Serve as Medical Director of a 10-bed inpatient geriatric and medically complex psychiatry unit
- Provide high-quality psychiatric and substance use treatment to an elderly, medically complex population
- Lead a multidisciplinary inpatient treatment team
- Participate in resident supervision and medical student teaching
- Join a mature, collegial faculty peer group

- Develop leadership skills with mentorship from department and network leadership
- Monday-Friday schedule with no required after-hours call

Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- BE/BC in Psychiatry
- Geriatric Psychiatry fellowship preferred
- Experience caring for older adults and medically complex patients preferred
- Strong interest in resident and medical student education
