About the Community

Modesto combines Central Valley living with a downtown arts and dining scene. The Gallo Center for the Arts and State Theatre provide options for performances and entertainment, while local restaurants, public art and seasonal community events add variety close to home. Tree-lined neighborhoods and shopping at Vintage Faire give residents a range of everyday amenities.

For time outdoors, explore the Dry Creek Trail or the converted railway route of the Virginia Corridor. The region also offers farm-fresh food and access to destinations throughout Northern California. Sacramento is approximately 75 miles away by road, and the Bay Area, Sierra Nevada and Yosemite region offer options for weekend trips.
