Nationally reputable laboratory owned and managed by Pathologists, is seeking a Board Certified AP/CP board certified Pathologist and are pleased to offer this exceptional opportunity in our rapidly growing hospital based practice in Laredo, Texas. This position will involve central practice in one hospital. Subspecialty training or certification is highly desired but not required.
The position will have solo coverage (with remote support from the main group) and require signing out of anatomic pathology cases, frozen sections coverage and oversight of clinical laboratory as a medical director. The pathology group will provide coverage while on leave. Consultation within the group is available on complex cases. The facility is CLIA and Joint commission accredited. This position also requires candidate to be outgoing, possess demonstrated leadership skills, active on hospital committees, tumor board, and have exceptional interpersonal and clinical skills.
