A leading academic medical center is seeking a BC/BE Acute Care Surgeon to join a high-volume, expanding Acute Care Surgery program in Hartford, Connecticut, offering the opportunity to practice across trauma surgery, surgical critical care, and emergency general surgery in a nationally recognized academic environment.


Position Highlights:

  • Join a growing faculty of 14 Acute Care Surgeons
  • Practice at an ACS Level I Trauma Center
  • Comprehensive Acute Care Surgery scope:
    • Trauma surgery
    • Surgical critical care
    • Emergency general surgery
  • High-volume program with 2,600+ trauma patients annually
  • 1,100+ surgical ICU admissions annually
  • 1,500+ emergency general surgery cases annually

  • Robust Surgical Critical Care fellowship program with dedicated Acute Care Surgery training opportunities
  • Extensive opportunities to teach general surgery residents, fellows, and medical students
